  • Safety Compliance: Adhering to international standards like SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea) and MARPOL (Marine Pollution Prevention). 

  • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating operational risks, including cargo-related hazards.

  • Incident Reporting: Timely and accurate reporting of incidents or near-misses as per regulatory standards.

Security Management:

 

  • Anti-Piracy Measures: Implementing security measures for high-risk areas prone to piracy. 

  • ISPS Code Compliance: Ensuring the vessel complies with the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code.       

  • Cybersecurity: Protecting the vessel’s critical systems and data from cyberattacks.

Quality Assurance:

 

  • ISM Code Compliance: Ensuring the vessel and management systems comply with the International Safety Management Code.

  • ISO Standards: Achieving certifications such as ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety).

  • Internal Audits: Conducting regular audits to ensure high standards of operation and safety.

Crew Management:

 

  • Crew Training: Ensuring that all crew members are trained in tanker-specific operations, safety protocols, and emergency response.

  • Recruitment and Retention: Managing the hiring, rotation, and welfare of the crew.

  • Certification Management: Ensuring that all crew certifications are valid and up-to-date, in compliance with STCW (Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping).
